Obituary

REGENNITTER.

A few days ago the TRIBUNE contained an obituary notice for Mrs. D. Regennitter and at the same time it was stated that the husband was very ill and hardly expected to live. The arrangements for the funeral of the wife had been completed when at 9:30 yesterday morning the husband followed his beloved companion into the great unknown. Mr. and Mrs. Regennitter were born near Wesel in Germany. In 1821, they were married in the old country coming here 38 years ago. They had trod life's journey together and death could not long separate them. There are left three children doubly bereaved--Diedrich who now travels for a Chicago tobacco firm, Henry and Emma of this city.

The funeral will be a double one and will take place at 1:30 today with interment in Oakdale.
