Obituary

HOMBRECHT.

Yesterday morning at 7 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Marie J. Hombrecht, wife of John B. Hombrecht. Mrs. Hombrecht was born in Ghent, Belgium, in 1821. In 1855 she came to Davenport, where she has lived ever since. A year ago last August Mr. and Mrs. Hombrecht celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage. She has been an invalid for a year past, having had an attack of la grippe which left her brain paralyzed. She leaves three children to mourn the death of a kind and loving mother--Alphonse, Mrs. Matilda Dickmann and Mrs. Charles H. Meier.

The funeral will take place Wednesday morning and will be private.
