Obituary

Moore.

Sunday occurred the funeral of Joseph Moore, who died last Friday morning at his home in Lincoln township, aged 76 years.

Mr. Moore was born in Donegal, Ireland, Jan. 11, 1811. In 1886 he was married to Miss Mary Conaghey and in 1848 with his family came to the United States, settling in New, Blair county, Pa. In 1858 he moved to Lee county, Ill., and in 1860 came to Scott county where he lived until his death. He was a devout member of the United Presbyterian church. He leaves with his wife eleven children to mourn his death.

The funeral was held from Summit Presbyterian church and was largely attended by his numerous friends.
