Schlichting, Thomas, aged 67, died in Blue Grass township, Scott county, yesterday morning at 8 o'clock. Funeral Thursday at 10 a.m., interment in Blue Grass.

Mr. Schlichting died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clara Soenke. He was well known throughout Scott county, having lived in Blue Grass township for over thirty years. Heart failure was the immediate cause of his death. He is survived by three daughters, all married, two brother, Hans and Peter, of Davenport, and a sister, Mrs. Hauschild, formerly of Davenport, now of El Paso, Tex. He has been living in the home of his daughter near Blue Grass ever since the death of his wife, five years ago.
