GEORGE H. RUHBERG
Durant-- George H, Ruhberg, 77, of 1536 Florence Lane, Davenport passed away Tuesday at Mercy Hospital after an extended illness.
Born north of Stockton, Mr. Ruhberg, had been a life resident of Scott county. He was united in marriage to Janet A. Jensen in Cambridge; Ill. in July 1921. The couple farmed near Mt. Joy until 1958, , at which time, they moved to Davenport.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters. Mrs. Emma Holst and Mrs. Minnie Herring, Davenport; and two brothers, Adolph Ruhberg, Durant and Eddie Ruhberg, Sioux Falls, S. D. Two sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Thursday in the Runge Chapel, Davenport. The Rev, Fred Rolf officiating.. Burial followed in Davenport Memorial Park.
