Services for William Franklin Conger Sr, 70 of 1225 1/2 W 7th St, Davenport will be Wednesday, at 2:30 p. m. in Runge Chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetary.
Mr. Conger died in his home Sunday.
Born in Ottumwa , Iowa, he married Gladys Entwistle in 1958 in Davenport. He had lived in Davenport for 40 years.
Mr. Conger was associated with Englehart Manufacturing Co. 21 yers, prior to retirement.
Surviving are his wife; daughters Miss Icle Conger, Glenwood, Iowa; Mrs. Helen Kluzne, Fort Athison, Wis.; Miss Dorothy Conger, Denver, Colo; and Mrs. Mabel Danner, Rock Island; sons William and Calvin; stepsons Nile, William, Eugene and Harley Sperry, all of Davenport; 25 grandchilden and two great-grandchildren.
A daughter preceded him in death.
