MRS. ELIZABETH TYSON.
Mrs. Elizabeth Skinner Tyson, 75, a former resident of Ottumwa, died Thursday at 5:20 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Hitchcock of Clinton, where she had made her home in recent years. She had been ill two weeks.

A resident of Ottumwa for many years, Mrs. Tyson was born September 22, 1872 in Poweshiek county, Iowa

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Nellie Hitchcock of Clinton, Mrs. Emma Roland of Knoxville, iowa, and Mrs. Leona Pruden of Chicago; and four sons, Frank and Orie, both of Davenport, Calvin Conger of Ottumwa and the Rev. V. R. Skinner of Barnard, Mo. Also surviving are six brothers; 30 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:30 p. m. in the Carroll Reece funeral home in charge of Brigadier George Williams of the Salvation Army of St. Joseph, Mo. assisted by Capt. J. E. LaLone of the Salvation Army in Ottumwa. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
