Whitesell
Harvey P. Whitesell passed away at his home, 1225 West Seventh street, Sunday morning at 6 o'clock after a lingering illness.
The decedent was born Nov. 8, 1868, in Edgar county, Ill. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Annie Wahlig at Davenport, Oct. 23, 1919, who survives him besides the following relatives: Three children, Mrs. Clorine Carrell, Clarence and Clelland Whitesell of Paris, Ill.; the following brothers: Dave, Daniel L., and Billy of Paris, Ill., and Ransom, George, and Seigel of Terre Haute, Ind., three sisters: Mrs. Susan Carnaham, Mrs. June Purcell of Paris, Ill., and Mrs. Lola Rhoads of Peoria, one stepson, Raymond G. Wahlig, and three grandchildren.
Mr. Whitesell was a member of the L. O. O. M. No. 28, and the brotherhood of American Yoemen, No. 2523. Religiously he was affiliated with St. Mark's English Lutheran church.
Funeral services will be held from the home of his stepson, Raymond Wahlig, 2046 West Fifth street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with 2:30 o'clock services at the St. Mark's Lutheran church. Interment will take place in the Fairmount cemetery.
