Davenport-Services for Jimmy D."Cowboy" McDonald. 68, of Davenport will be 10:30 a.m. at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery, Davenport.

Mr. McDonald died Saturday at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

He retired in the late 1960's as a laborer at Alcoa, Davenport Works.

Mr. McDonald married Ida Chase McDonald in 1977 in Davenport.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Stella Merit, Spokane, Wash, Jesse McDonald, Diane Hirt and Sandy Patterson, Pittsburg, Calf; sons Robert McDonald, Flint, Mich;J.J. McDonald, George Patterson, Portland, Ore., and John McLane, five grandchildren, a sister Mary McDonald; and a brother, George Chase, Davenport.
