Donna loved to travel and was fortunate enough to spend the last several winters with her husband in Bull Head City, Ariz. Bargain shopping and frequenting the riverboat casinos were her favorite pastimes.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; a daughter, Pam Yerington; sons and daughters-in-law Phil and Shelly Yerington and Paul and Connie Yerington, all of Davenport; a granddaughter, Brandi; grandsons, Kyle, Seth and Ryan; sisters, Darlene (Mrs. Rhea) Hambright and Wilma (Mrs. William) Brommell, Davenport, Pat (Mrs. Robert) Sheets, Tipton, Iowa, and Gloria Yock, Coralville, Iowa; brothers, Duane Smith, Bloomington, Minn., and Hib Smith, Chanhassen, Minn; and a special son-in-law, Jim Lonergan, Davenport.

Donna’s lifetime request was that family and friends not mourn her death, but celebrate her life. Friends are invited to a gathering at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Davenport on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., where all can join and reminisce the “Fun Times” of her life. God bless her soul.
In lieu of flowers and plants, Donna’s wishes were for memorials to be made to the American Heart Association, the University of Iowa Hospitals Organ Transplant Unit or the Genesis VNA Hospice Care Program.
