Annabel E. Doyle, of DeWitt, died January 25, 1997. She was born February 7, 1948 in Pleasant Valley to John and Hannah Pope Havil. She married John "Vincent" Doyle, February 7, 1948, in Rock Island, Illinois. He died March 12, 1980. Mrs. Doyla and her husband farmed in the Eldridge community before retiring to DeWitt. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, DeWitt, and several card clubs.

Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Donnabel (John) Bradley of Eldridge; two sons, Raymond Bauwens of Bettendorf and J. LeRoy Doyle of Tubac, Arizona; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
