Vincent Doyle, 71, of 115 12th Avenue, DeWitt, died today at DeWitt Community Hospital. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, DeWitt, wth Rev. Anthony Conrad officiating. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. at Hanrahan Funeral Home DeWitt, with parish rosary recited at 8 p.m.

Mr. Doyle was born March 5, 1909, in Long Grove to James and Mary Ella McKinney Doyle. He married Annabel Havill February 7, 1948 in Rock Island, Illinois. He farmed in Scott County before retiring in DeWitt.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. John (Donnabel) Bradley, Eldridge; a son LeRoy, Tucson, Arizona; a step-son, Raymond Bauwens, LeClaire; and a sister, Mrs. Roy (Viola) Strobbe, Long Grove. He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
