William Kephart, 53, 425 1/2 West Second Street, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Mercy hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Topeka, Kas., Dec 28,1888, he had resided in this city for the last 14 years and was employed by the Davenport Water Co. His wife preceded him in death.
Five children survive. They are Victor, Wilton, Ia., Cecil, Davenport, Donald, Stewartsville, Minn., Robert, Council Bluffs, Ia., and Miss Wilma Kephart, Davenport.
The body was removed to the Horrigan home for funerals pending arrangements.
