Last Rites For R. Bailey, 50

Robert Bailey of Pleasant Valley, 50, died Thursday at a hospital in Bettendorf. He had been ill several years with cancer.

The service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the McGinnis Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Interment will also be in Bettendorf.

Bailey was born and reared in the Beckwith community, the son of Mr. and Mrs. McKinley Bailey. He was a graduate of the Fairfield High School.

He is survived by his widow, six children and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, who lives at Oakland Mills; his brother, Richard Bailey of Arizona and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Winter of Oakland Mills.
