M. CLARK dies at Davenport

DAVENPORT -- Mildred E. CLARK, 82, 403 e. 31st St., Davenport, former Fairfield resident, died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport after a brief illness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport, with the Rev. James Hurvey officiating. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to Mrs. Clark's church, First Presbyterian in Davenport.

Mrs. CLARK was born Nov. 3, 1904 in Fairfield, the daughter of William H. and Lilliam B. WOLFE JONES. She was raised in Fairfield, attended Parsons College, and Marycrest College in Davenport. On Nov. 15, 1927 in Bloomington, Ind., she married Paul F. CLARK, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Jacquelan CATTERALL of Tucson, Ariz.; two sons, Paul W. of Santa Barbara, Calif., Richard F. of Bettendorf; seven grandchildren; a sister, Helen BAILEY of Los Angeles, Calif., and a brother, Ralph JONES of Bloomington, Ind. A sister preceded her in death.
