Mrs. Grace Gilbert
Mrs. Grace M. Gilbert, 93, LeClaire, died today at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Pleasant Valley. Services will be 10:30am Friday at McGinnis Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Visitation is after 2pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Grace Adams was born in Tipton, Iowa, where she married John Gilbert in 1901. He died in 1963.
Survivors include daughters Mrs. John (Hazel) Fisher, Mrs. Grace Ettinger, Mrs. George (Alice) Collier and Mrs. William (Joyce) Reep, all of LeClaire; Mrs. Elmer (Nellie) Seibert, Bettendorf, and Mrs. Rose Ploog, McCausland; sons, Charles R., Princeton and Charles B., LeClaire; 28 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Spencer, Corpus Christi, Tex and a brother Guy Adams, Davenport.
