Services for Elberton "Dick" Shane, 58, of Eldridge will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wilton Mortuary, Peoria, Ill. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Dunlap, Ill.
Visitation is one hour before service time Wednesday.
Runge Mortuary was in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Shane died Saturday at Davenport Osteopathic Hospital.
He retired as a materials engineer at Caterpillar Tractor Co., Mount Joy, where he had been employed 20 years.
He was a Marine veteran and a member of Glen Oak Christian Church, Peoria.
Survivors include his wife, daughters Mrs. John (Karen) Severtsen, Rogers Ark., and Deborah Mannon, Denver; a son, David, Peoria; seven grandchildren; a sister Martha of California; and brothers, Norris of Maryland and Andrew, Mossville, Ill.
