Mrs. Margaret Schebler.

An even four score of years marked the life of Mrs. Margaret Schebler who breathed her last at noon yesterday, at the home of her son, Frank Schebler, 1123 West Sixth Street. The deceased was born in Steinfid (sic), Bavaria, in 1803. In 1856 she came with her husband to Davenport, the latter preceding her to the grave by some four years. Six children of whom two are daughters and four are sons are living. These are Mrs. Joseph Volz, Mrs. George Hermann, and Frank, Richard, John, and Casper Schebler. Old age seems to have been the cause of death -- life had run its course. She leaves a noble memory as a legacy to her children, grand children and friends, that of a Christian, kind woman and devoted mother. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning from St. Kunigundi's Church.
