Mrs. Catherine Cepican, resident of Davenport for the last 26 years, died at her home, 1606 Esplanade avenue, Sunday morning at 12:10 o'clock, after an illness of four weeks.

She was born in Bohemia, Austria, 58 years ago, and came to America 32 years ago, residing in Chicago six years before coming to this city. She was a member of Alberta camp 505, R. N. A.

Those who survive are her husband, Frank Cepican, Sr.; her father, Joseph Zeman, and six children: Mrs. W. P. Lorenzen, Mrs. Charles Stubbe, Frank L., Edward, Emma, and Joseph, all of Davenport; and a sister, Mrs. Anton Jaros, of this city.

The funeral will be held Wednesday from the family home, 1606 Esplanade avenue, at 8:30, to Sacred Heart cathedral at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in St. Marguerite's cemetery.
