Wachter Obsequies

This morning with services at St. Joseph's church at 9 o'clock occurred the funeral of Miss Agnes Wachter. The funeral was very largely attended. Rev. A. Niermann celebrated the requiem high mass. The casket was covered with the most beautiful floral tributes, a testimony to the esteem in which the young lady was held. The young ladies sodality, of which she was a member, attended in a body marching from the residence to the church and going to the cemetery in rigs. Rev. F. Kottesstette officiated at the grave. The pallbearers were: John Hinrichs, Adam Degan, George Reese, Phillip Keller, Frank Gadient and Julius Schebler.
