Page 15The Liebal Funeral.
The funeral of Charles Vincent Liebal was held this morning at 8:30 from the home of his son, Rudolph Liebal, 1616 West Seventh street.
The services were held at 9 o'clock at St. Joseph's church, the Very Rev. Anthony Schoenigh celebrating Requiem High Mass, and pronouncing the absolution. Rev Schoenigh preached the funeral sermon, and also officiated at the graveside in Holy Family cemetery. As the funeral cartege entered the church, Robert McGregor sang "Dafles Ave Maria" in English. At the Offertory of the Mass Mrs. Alex sang "Ave Maria" in Latin. At the Ignutes Day Robert McGregor sang "Lead Kindly Light," and at the conclusion of the Mass "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." At the conclusion of the services Mr. McGregor sang "Nearer My God to Thee."
The pallbearers were all grandsons of the deceased. They were, Edwin and Leroy Gadient, Carl and Raymond Noten, and Raymond and Charles Liebal.
There were many flowers and a large attendance at the services.
