Littig, Davenport, Fatal Heat Victim

Davenport, (AP) -- Victor Littig, prominent real estate broker and attorney, died Monday night in a hospital after having been overcome by the heat Sunday.

Mr. Littig's death brought the toll from the heat in the tri-city area to 24. Fifteen are seriously ill in hospitals from prostration.
