Libermann

Mrs. Marie Hanna Libermann, 2621 Bridge avenue, Davenport, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Iva Olson, 916 Kirkwood boulevard, at 7:35 o’clock Monday evening. Her death terminated an illness of one years’ duration.

Deceased was born in Kristianstad, Sweden, April 29, 1860, and came to this country and direct to Davenport, 44 years ago. She was here married to Ernest H.N. Libermann on Feb. 14, 1886. Mrs. Libermann was a member of the Second Baptist church and a charter member of the Ladies’ Aid society of that church.

Surviving her, besides her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Otto Winckler, Mrs. Emma Heidt and Mrs. Iva Olsen all of Davenport; one son, August O. Libermann of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Lundgren of Davenport and Mrs. Augusta Lindstrom of Lynn Center, Ill. ; two brothers, Peter Peterson of White City, Kan., and Otto Peterson of Bangor, Me., and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Libermann was a loving and devoted wife and mother, and was an inestimable friend and neighbor. She was a life-long worker in her church circles.

Her body was removed to the E.A. Horrigan & Son mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
