Mrs. Nancy Davis, widow of George Davis, formerly of LeClaire, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Lancaster, 1419 Elm street, Davenport, at 9 o’clock this morning. She was in her 78th year. Death terminated an illness of two years’ duration.

Surviving are three sons, Ed, Joe and Perry Davis, all of Chicago, and two daughters, Mrs. Clark Bragonier of Saskatchawan, Canada, and Mrs. Lancaster of Davenport.

The body was removed to the P.H. McGinnis & Sons funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
