Mrs. Caroline Koch, 1214 West Fourth street, died at St. Luke’s hospital Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock after an illness of ten days’ duration.

Deceased was born near Eldridge, Ia., Dec. 10, 1874, her maiden name being Caroline Holst. She was united in marriage to Charles Koch, May 18, 1896 at Luverne, Minn., and the couple came to Davenport in 1898, where they have since resided.

Besides her husband Mrs. Koch is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Robert Mairet, and Mrs. Clarence Thompson both of Davenport, and the Misses Dora and Norma, both at home; one son, John; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Lawton, and Miss Laura Holst, both of Davenport, and four brothers, George of San Francisco, Henry of Los Angeles, Herman of Davenport, and Emil of Rock Island.

The body was removed to the Runge mortuary and will be taken to the late home on Thursday morning. The funeral will be held from there at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon. Interment will be in Mt. Joy cemetery.
