Palmer - The death of Mrs. Martha Palmer occurred early Sunday morning. The deceased was 55 years of age and has been ill since July 10. She was born in Pennsylvania but has lived in this state for the past seven years. She was a Christian woman and has been connected with the Baptist church for the past 35 or 40 years. Death occurred at her home 140 Perry street.

The deceased is survived by her husband, N. L. Palmer, and the following children: William, Alfred, Charles, Albert, Clarence, Hattie and Lucy.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock from the residence. Rev. Weddell of Calvary Baptist church will officiate. The interment will be at the Le Claire cemetery.
