Brehmer - (From Monday’s Daily Leader.)

Julius Brehmer died at his home, 1315 West Third street, last evening. The fatal ailment was typhoid fever, from which the deceased has been suffering for some time.

Mr. Brehmer was formerly a well-known mail carrier and upon his leaving the service of Uncle Sam was tendered a reception by his associate employes at the Down’s hotel. At the time of his death he was a member of the firm of Stahmer and Bremer, dealer in boots and shoes.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the late residence. Services will also be held at Pastor Grief’s church at 2 o’clock. The interment will be at the West Davenport cemetery.
