About 7 o'clock last evening occurred the death of Henry Denger, aged twenty-nine years and seven months. He has been ill for three weeks with lung fever and had suffered greatly. He served for five years in the regular army and only returned to Davenport last Christmas. Since his return he has been employed as a painter. He leaves a mother, three brothers and three sisters to mourn his death. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon with interment in the West Davenport cemetery.
