OBITUARY
D.S. ROBESON

Friday a few minutes after 12 o'clock occurred the death of another of the early settlers of Scott county, D.S. Robeson, living at 521 Bridge avenue. Mr. Robeson was born in Martinsburg, Pa., and was 55 years of age. His parents, Thomas and Sarah Robeson, came west in 1844 bringing young David with them. They located on a farm in Jersey Ridge, where they will be remembered by many. In 1858 D.S. Robeson was united in marriage to Miss Miriam J. Howe, of Ohio, who survives him, together with his father who lives in Dakota. Mr. Robeson has been an invalid for a long time, having softening of the brain, which disease caused his death. He was always a hard working man and well liked by all who knew him. He was a member of the Old Settlers' Association, a call for a meeting of which is found elsewhere. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence, 524 Bridge avenue.
