Carsten Moeller died at 4 o'clock this morning at his home 1509 West Seventeenth street, Davenport following a lingering illness. He had been confined to his bed the past four weeks.
Mr. Moeller was born in Bredstedt, Germany, Oct 28 1850, and was there united in marriage to Katrina Petersen. The couple came to the United States in 1880. His wife preceded him in death in 1897. Surviving are four children, Mrs. George Rueffer, Meta Moeller, and Mathilda Moeller, all of Davenport, and Louis Moeller of Chester, Pa.
The deceased was a member of the Northwest Davenport Turner society, having affiliated with that organization in 1889.
Funeral services will be held from the late home at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.
