Schacht

Mrs. Louisa Schacht, 325 Lincoln avenue, died at 7 o’clock this morning at her home after an illness of five years’ duration.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wis, March 28, 1871, and was united in marriage to Bernhard Schacht at Dala, Wis., on April 23, 1899, the couple thereafter coming to Davenport, where they have resided since. Mrs. Schacht was a member of the Mystic Workers of the World.

Surviving are the husband, one step-daughter, Veronica of Milwaukee, Wis., one sister, Mrs. Charles Sechter of Philadelphia, Penn., and a brother, Charles Boerke of Warsaw, Wis.

Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home, 325 South Lincoln avenue, and burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.

The Schacht Funeral

The funeral of Mrs. Lizzie Schacht was held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home, 325 South Lincoln avenue, where Rev. Carl Holtermann of the Evangelical Lutheran church officiated as well as at the grave in Fairmount cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Glaspell, Herman Schneider, H. Wohnrade, Niels DeLindholm, E.H. Rahn, and Fritz Tehentien.
