Following an illness of three week's duration, Friday afternoon occurred the death of William F. Epping, a well known resident of this city. Deceased was 52 years of age.

Mr. Epping was for many years a valued employee of the Rock Island railroad, serving in the capacity of a carpenter.

Left to mourn his death are a daughter, Dora, and a son, Leonard, of this city, and four brothers, Henry of O'Brien county, Ia.; John of Clinton, Ia., and Andrew and Theodore of this city.

The funeral will be held tomorrow
