Services for Miss Coaina Scott, 86, of 2016 Harrison St, Davenport, will be 9:30a.m. Monday at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home and 10a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation is 2 to 9pm today at the funeral home where a rosary will be recited at 8p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Ambrose College.

Miss Scott died Friday at Ridgecrest Health Wing. She was a teacher in Davenport for 40 years, retiring in 1955 from the Madison School kindergarten program. Miss Scott was the first woman graduate from St. Ambrose College, receiving a B.S. degree in elementary education in 1911. Her father was Davenport mayor from 1902 to 1905. Her residence was known for displaying the largest American flag in Davenport.

Miss Scott was born in Arkansas City, Kansas.
Survivors include a brother, Sylvester Scott, Clinton.
