Mrs. Bertha Welzenbach

Mrs. Bertha Welzenbach, of Buffalo, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday in Mercy hospital after an illness of several months duration.
She was born in Davenport on Jan. 9, 1892, the daughter of the late George and Minnie Hoffmann. She received her education in the Davenport schools.
On April 11, 1931, she was married to Antone J. Welzenbach in Galena, Ill. They resided in Davenport until 1938, when they moved to Buffalo.
She is survived by her husband, three sisters, Mrs. H. P. Nelson, and Mrs. Fred M. Mielke of Davenport, and Mrs. Jessie Jones of San Francisco, Calif., and one brother George A. Hoffmann of Davenport.
The body is at Runge mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
