Zinger
Walter C. Zinger, 530 Oak street passed away at his home Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. His death followed a lingering illness of several years’ duration.
The deceased was born July 29, 1900, in Davenport, and received his education in the schools here. He lived here his entire life and was employed at the Red Jacket company and the Bettendorf company.
Surviving him are his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Anton Zinger; one brother, Andrew E. Zinger, and three sisters, Mrs. Ed Voss, Mrs. W. Giffin and Miss Elenor Zinger all of Davenport.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at the Runge chapel, to which friends are invited. The services at the interment in Fairmount cemetery will be strictly private.

Zinger Funeral
The funeral of Walter C. Zinger was held Saturday morning from the Runge chapel with Rev. Carl Holterman officiating. Interment occurred in Fairmount cemetery.
Pallbearers were Edward Voss, Charles Boston, Hans Martens, Herman Martens, Fred Bolte and Roy Zinger.
