Rehder
John C. Rehder died this morning at eight o’clock at this residence, 1643 West Fourth street. Death terminated a short illness.
The deceased was born May 17, 1847 at Kiel, Germany, and came to the United States in 1872. Until 20 years ago, when he came to Davenport to make his home, he was occupied as a farmer in Minnesota. He was untied in marriage to Mrs. Augusta Weber on November 6, 1907, who survives him besides three step sons, William Lange, of San Francisco, Dr. John Weber of Los Angeles, and Rudolph Lange of Elizabeth, Colo., two step daughters, Mrs. Julia Bohm of Hedlow, Neb., and Mrs. Martha Fall of Creston, Ia., 18 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Runge mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
