The funeral of Mrs. Martha J. Collins, who died at St. Paul on Dec. 31, 1924, and whose body was taken to Davenport for interment, was held from the home of her brother, R. W. Crook, 122 West Central Park avenue, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
Rev. H. B. Cox officiated, and Rev. Cox and his daughter, accompanied at the piano by Miss Grace Smith, sang, “Nearer My God to Thee,” “Shall We Gather at the River,” and “God Be With You Till We Meet Again.”
Pallbearers were E. L. Goff, John Murray, E. B. McCullough, John Rouse, J. F. Nebergal, and Harry Peacock. Interment took place in Oakdale cemetery.
