Mrs. Eggers is Dead at Age of Eighty-Two Years

Mrs. Amelia Eggers, aged 82 years, passed away this morning at 7 o’clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Maloschek, 2427 LeClaire street, after a lingering illness.

She was born in Insel Fehmarn, Germany, December 18, 1842, and came with her parents to America when she was nine years of age. She was married in 1866 to John Eggers, who preceded her in death 21 years ago.

Surviving are the following children, Mrs. H. C. Claussen, Mrs. H. P. Whitesell, whose husband was buried last Wednesday, George Eggers, Peter Eggers, Mrs. O. Eis, and Mrs. Charles Maloschek. Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home, 2427 LeClaire street and interment will be made in Fairmount cemetery.
