The Davenport Republican; Tuesday, April 24, 1900:

Stender

At Morbonic [sic] hospital Sunday afternoon, death came to the relief of Mrs. Mary Stender, who has been confined at the hospital for the pat four months. The deceased was a native of Schleswig, and had been a resident of Davenport since 1848. She was 62 years of age.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. Roddewig, 1928 Brady street. Interment will be had at Pine Hill.
