Miss Stella Hall died yesterday at 6:30 p.m., after an illness of three months from pulmonary troubles. She was born on a farm on the Hickory Grove road now within the Davenport city limits, Nov. 9, 1864. She was educated in this city and had a host of friends who will join with the bereaved family in mourning her loss.
Miss Hall is a daughter of an esteemed citizen of Davenport, Byron S. Hall. Besides the sorrowing father, there survives a brother, W. W. Hall of San Antonia [sic], Texas and a sister Miss Estella Hall of this city.
The funeral will take place from the residence 320 West Second street, Saturday afternoon, at 2 o’clock. Interment will be in Oakdale cemetery.
