Behrens

Mrs. Anna Louis [sic] Behrens, 65, a resident of this county since a child 7 years old, died Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Mercy hospital after one year’s illness.

Anna Hadenfeldt was born in Holstein, Germany, March 12, 1862, coming to this country with her parents and settling at Belle Plain, Ia. She lived there until Dec. 25, 1890, when with her family she moved to Davenport. Her husband preceded her in death in 1894. For the past five years, she had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alma Klunder, 2229 Division street.

Other survivors besides this daughter are two sons, Henry W. and Otto, both of Davenport, a brother, Hans, of Storm Lake, Ia., and seven grandchildren.

The remains were removed to the Runge mortuary and will be returned to the home of the son, 415 West Fifteenth street, late today.

The funeral will be held from there Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Fairmount cemetery.
