Mrs. Arnould died Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at the family residence. She was taken ill a week ago today with a severe attack of plurisy [sic], which soon developed into lung fever and pneumonia, and although the best of medical assistance was procured, she rapidly grew worse and the end came at the time stated above.

She came to Davenport with her parents when only a month old and has lived here ever since. She was a woman of great value in the community. In her little family, she centered her heart, and to them, she gave her last thoughts.

Besides her husband and four children, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Anna Leonard, to mourn her death. The entire community joins in sympathy for the members of the family in their bereavement.
