Mrs. Emma Brown, wife of George Brown, 712 West Eighth street, Davenport, passed away this morning at 5 o’clock at the family home. Her death terminated a lingering illness.

Emma Sudbrook was born in Decatur, Ill., on Oct. 14, 1872, and came to Davenport with her parents when 10 years of age. She had resided here since.

She was united in marriage to Mr. Brown in 1920 who survives, besides one sister, Mary Sudbrook of Davenport; two brothers, Walter Sudbrook of Kansas City, Mo., and William Sudbrook of Newton, Ia., and two nephews, Richard and Herbert Sudbrook, both of Davenport.

The funeral will be held from the M. V. Boies Co. chapel at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment will be in Oakdale cemetery.
