Sprott

John Marion Sprott, East First and Oak streets, Bettendorf, died at his home Sunday morning at 8:43 o’clock. He had been ailing for several years.

The decedent was born in Summitville, Ia., on Jan. 12, 1849, and was married on June 14, 1892 to Miss Laura Cassidey at Montrose, Ia.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Canfield of Bettendorf, Mrs. Elsie Zachmeyer of Weaver, Ia., and Miss Eva Sprott of Fort Madison, Ia., and four sons, Walter, Clarence and John Sprott, all of Bettendorf, and John Sprott of Montrose.

The body was removed to the E. A. Horrigan & Son mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
