Feiler

Mrs. Mathilda P. Feiler died at the home of her son, Lawrence G. Feiler, at Cedar Rapids, at 2:15 Friday afternoon. Her death terminated an illness of a year’s duration. She was a former Davenporter and the widow of the late Henry B. Feiler.

The deceased was born in Warsaw, Ill., on Dec. 28, 1860, and came to Davenport in 1903. Her husband preceded her in death in 1921, and two years later she went to Cedar Rapids to make her home with her son. She was a member of the St. John’s Episcopal Church of Davenport.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Anna Bonnicamp of Atkinson, Kan.; Mrs. H. G. Hurto and Mrs. L. W. Dannacher of Davenport; two sons, Lawrence G. of Cedar Rapids and Edwin of Davenport, and 17 grandchildren.

The body arrived in Davenport Saturday morning and was removed to the Runge mortuary. The funeral will be held from the home of her son, Edwin Feiler, 1107 Gaines street, at 3:30 today. Interment will be in Oakdale cemetery.
