Jager

Last evening at 6:20 o’clock occurred the death of Mrs. Mary Seabright Jager, wife of our worthy townsman, Henry Jager of the Davenport Lumber company.

About six weeks ago, Mrs. Jager was called to the deathbed of her brother at Wheeling, W. Va., and while there, contracted the sickness which has resulted so seriously.

Mrs. Jager came to Davenport only a few years past, and has endeared herself to the many friends who will be pained to learn of her death. Mrs. Jager was only 26 years of age.

Hon. C. W. Seabright, father of the deceased, arrived in the city a few days since in answer to a summons, and found his daughter much better and supposed out of danger.

The remains will be taken to Wheeling, W. Va. for interment. The funeral will take place there on Friday, March 6.
