Buck
At his home in Welton, Clinton county, yesterday morning at 1:45 o’clock occurred the death of C. G. Buck, a respected gentleman who was favorably known in the three cities.
The deceased was afflicted with a disease of an exceedingly painful nature, which was considered hopeless from the first, and which had confined him to his home for the past eight months.
He was born in Hull, England and came to the country in 1850.
He is survived by three sons and two daughters, one of the latter being Mrs. Edward L. Pester of this city.
The funeral was held at Welton this morning, many friends of the deceased going from here on yesterday’s afternoon train to assist at the obsequies.
