Pettigrew

Mrs. E. J. Kimball of this city, accompanied by her sister, Miss Rosa Behrens, left for Chicago Monday morning to attend the funeral of their sister, Mrs. E. A. Pettigrew, whose death occurred in that city Saturday afternoon.

The deceased lived all her life in Davenport except seven years, when she married and moved to Chicago. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Behrens, 1314 West Third street.

Death followed but a short while after an operation which was performed with the hopes of saving her life, by stopping the ravages of a tumor. The remains will be taken to St. Louis for burial.
