Barkhurst

Thomas Barkhurst, a resident of Davenport for many years, died at 9:30 a. m. today at the county infirmary after an extended illness.

Mr. Barkhurst was born in 1847 and was 81 years of age. Surviving are one son, Walter, of Atalissa, Ia.; and a daughter, Mrs. Harry Mattison, of West Branch.

The body was removed to the Nissen & Hartwig Mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
