Moeller

Hans Mathes Moeller of 1539 Spring street, passed away Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock after an illness of ten days. He was born in Holstein, Germany, Feb. 23, 1861, and was married to Miss Emma Mess in Germany in 1886. The same year the couple came to America, where they were engaged in farming. For several years he has been retired and living in Davenport.

Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Emma Moeller, and three daughters, Emma, Ella and Margaret, and three sons, Carl, William and Chris. Margaret Moeller of North Dakota also survives.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 o’clock from Runge’s chapel. Friends will be welcome to the services at the chapel, and interment in Pine Hill cemetery will be private.
